Day 1: Beijing Airport Pickup
Upon your arrival in Beijing, our English-speaking tour guide will greet you and transport you to your hotel. This evening you will have the opportunity to rest up from your long journey to Beijing.

Day 2: Tian'anmen Square - The Forbidden City - The Temple of Heaven - The Summer Palace
An early start to a busy day to help you make the most of your time in Beijing. We will pick you up around 8 a.m. for a full day of visiting some of the “must-see” sites of this amazing city. Wrap up your evening with an incredible show - your choice of the Acrobatics Show, the Legend of Kung Fu Show, or Beijing Opera. Today includes breakfast at your hotel, lunch, all entrance tickets and transportation. After the show, we will take you back to your hotel to rest up for another big day tomorrow.

Day 3: The Sacred Way, Ming Tombs and The Great Wall of China at Juyongguan
Another early start to maximize your time in Beijing. Today you will visit the Sacred Way of the Ming Tombs, one of the Ming Tombs, and then a beautiful section of the Great Wall at Juyongguan. You will finish off the day with a traditional Beijing Duck dinner. Includes breakfast at your hotel, lunch, all entrance tickets and transportation and your Beijing Duck dinner.

Day 4: Beijing Rickshaw Hutongs Tour - Flight to Guilin
After breakfast, we will take you on a tour of the ancient alleyways (hutongs) of Beijing by rickshaw. These hutongs have been home to Beijing residents for centuries, and you will have the opportunity to visit a local home and have tea with a local hutong family, visit a local school, and see many historic sites. After a local lunch, we will transport you to the Beijing airport in time for your afternoon flight to Guilin, where you will be greeted by an English-speaking tour guide and transported to your 4-star hotel. Breakfast at your hotel, lunch, rickshaw tour, all ground transportation, hotels and airfare are included.

Day 5: Li River Cruise to Yangshuo
This morning you will travel by boat along the Li River for one of the most beautiful river cruises in the world. The karst mountains of southern China, famous throughout the world as a recognized symbol of the Middle Kingdom, provide amazing scenery throughout the trip on your leisurely 4 1/2 hour cruise to Yangshuo, where you will spend two nights and two fun-filled days. You will have the opportunity to fully explore this charming 1,000-year old small town either on foot or by bicycle - this is a great place for biking to check out the extraordinary natural beauty of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast at your hotel, the river cruise, lunches, bike rentals and your hotel are all included.

Day 6: Exploring Yangshuo County
You will have this day to explore Yangshuo County and all of its sights - Moon Hill, with its interesting hole through the middle, cormorant fishing (fishing with birds), visiting a water (more appropriately, a mud) cave (prepare to get as dirty as you have ever been in your life though) or just riding your bicycles around to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the fantastic beauty of one of the most beautiful places on earth. Breakfast, lunch and bike rentals are included.

Day 7: Yangshuo - Guilin - Beijing
Today you will return to Guilin for some sightseeing before your evening flight back to Beijing. Sites that you will have the opportunity to visit include the Elephant Trunk Hill (shown at left), Fubo Hill and the Reed Flute Cave. An English-speaking tour guide will greet you at the airport in Beijing to take you back to your hotel for the night, where you will have time to rest up for your departing flight the next day.

Day 8: Transfer to Beijing Airport
We will pick you up at your hotel to take you back to the Beijing airport to help you check in on time for your flight out of Beijing. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last minute shopping at Hong Qiao (Pearl Market) or the Silk Factory, or maybe even some quick sightseeing. Transportation to the Beijing airport is included.

Day 1: Beijing Airport Pickup - Hotel Transfer & Check-in
Today your personal English-speaking tour guide will greet you at the Beijing airport to transfer you by private vehicle to your hotel and help you get checked in. You will have the rest of the day to relax after your trip to China, or, depending upon your arrival time, you may have time to begin sightseeing or enjoy dinner and an evening show.
Day 2: Tian'anmen Square - The Forbidden City - Temple of Heaven
We will begin your tour of Beijing with some of the most iconic sites in all of China with a visit to the heart of Beijing at the Forbidden City and Tian’anmen Square. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit the ancient Temple of Heaven and its beautiful surrounding grounds area. Breakfast at your hotel and lunch are included today.
Day 3: The Ming Tombs - Great Wall of China at Mutianyu
This morning your tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel to take you by private vehicle with a professional driver to see the legendary Great Wall of China at one of its most beautiful sections at Mutianyu. There is an optional cable car ride that you can take up to the Wall, and then either the cable car or the fun toboggan/slideway ride back down from the Wall. You will also have the opportunity to visit the final resting place of 13 of the 16 Ming Dynasty emperors at the Ming Tombs, including a visit inside one of the excavated tombs. Breakfast at your hotel and lunch are included today.
Day 4: The Summer Palace - Beijing Airport Transfer - Afternoon Flight to Guilin - Guilin Airport Pickup - Hotel Transfer & Check-in
This morning you will visit the beautiful Summer Palace complex and Kunming Lake before we take you to the Beijing airport and help you check in on time for your flight to Guilin. At the Guilin airport, your personal English-speaking tour guide will greet you as you come out of arrivals to escort you to your private vehicle to transfer you to your Guilin hotel and help you get checked in for the night. Breakfast at your hotel and lunch are included today.
Day 5: Hotel Pickup - Li River Cruise to Yangshuo - Free Afternoon and Evening in Yangshuo - Overnight in Yangshuo
This morning your tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel to take you to board your boat for the spectacular 4 1/2 hour cruise along the Li River to Yangshuo. Upon arrival in Yangshuo, your tour guide will greet you as you get off of the boat for some sightseeing in the 1,000-year old village of Yangshuo before helping you check into your hotel for the night. Breakfast at your hotel and lunch are included today.
Day 6: Longsheng Rice Terraces - Minority Villages - Transfer to Guilin
Today your tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel to drive from Yangshuo to visit the ancient and fascinating Longsheng Rice Terraces, which were first built around 800 years ago. You will be able to hike around and visit some of the minority villages in the area while enjoying the fantastic views. We will then take you on to Guilin and help you get check into your hotel for the night. Breakfast at your hotel and lunch are included today.
Day 7: Elephant Trunk Hill - Reed Flute Cave - Flight to Beijing - Beijing Airport Pickup - Hotel Transfer & Check-in
This morning you will have time for sightseeing around Guilin before your tour guide transfers you to the Guilin airport by private vehicle and helps you check in on time for your flight back to Beijing. At the Beijing airport, we will greet you as you come out of arrivals to transfer you by private vehicle to your Beijing hotel and help you get checked in for the night.
Day 8: Beijing Airport Transfer - Departing Flight
This morning your tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel to transfer you by private vehicle to the Beijing airport and help you check in on time for your departing flight, or, depending on your flight departure time, you may have time for some last minute shopping or sightseeing before going on to the airport.
