Day 1: Goose Neck Park - Giant Pandas at Chongqing Zoo - Ciqikou Ancient Town
We will pick you up from your hotel, airport or train station in a private car and take you first for a visit to Goose Neck Park, with great views of the city of Chongqing as well as the Yangtze River, along with a mural of the Yangtze River showing the water levels before and after the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. We will treat to lunch at a local restaurant (dare to try the infamously spicy Chongqing Hot Pot?), then after lunch we will take you to the Panda House at the Chongqing Zoo for a closeup look at the rare Giant Panda. Later in the afternoon, you will visit Ciqikou Old Town, where you can walk along centuries-old streets lined with wooden houses, an ancient pier and watch local street performances. At the end of the day we will take you back to your hotel or on to the airport or train station as you depart to your next destination. #CQT2: One Day Chongqing - Buddhist Dazu Stone Carvings Tour

The Buddhist Dazu Stone Carvings are a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 104 miles (167 km) northwest of Chongqing. These spectacular rock carvings are distributed throughout Dazu County, with around 76 different places hosting about 60,000 Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian carved stone statues and 100,000 character inscriptions in total. They date from the 9th century Tang Dynasty to the 13th century Song Dynasty.

We will pick you up from your hotel, the airport or train station for a pleasant drive by private car to Dazu County to visit some of the greatest of the rock carvings. Day 1: Arrival in Beijing - Beijing Airport Pickup
Your English-speaking tour guide will greet you as you come out of Chinese customs at the Beijing airport to transfer you and help you check in to your hotel. You will have the rest of this day to relax and recover from your trip to China.
Day 2: Tian'anmen Square - The Forbidden City - Temple of Heaven - Yonghegong Lama Temple - Giant Pandas at Beijing Zoo - Evening Legend of Kung Fu Show
We will get an early 8 a.m. start to help you make the most of your time in Beijing with a busy schedule today. First you will have the opportunity to visit Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven before we treat you to a nice lunch of local Beijing cuisine. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit Yonghegong (the Lama Temple) and the Giant Panda House at the Beijing Zoo. Day 3: Rickshaw Hutong Tour of Old Beijing – The Summer Palace
8 a.m. pickup at your hotel for a tour of Beijing’s ancient alleyways (hutongs) by rickshaw where you will see where Beijing residents have lived for centuries and have tea with a local hutong family in their home; then visit the Drum and Bell Towers. After lunch, we will take you to visit the historic Summer Palace, then take you out for the world-famous Beijing Duck dinner. (Breakfast at your hotel, lunch and dinner are included.)
Day 4: The Sacred Way of the Ming Tombs - Ming Tombs – Great Wall of China at Mutianyu – Evening Flight to Xi’an
8 or 8:30 a.m. pickup at your hotel for a visit to the Sacred Way and one of the Ming Tombs, then a visit to a spectacular section of the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu. There is also an optional cable car ride up for the less physically fit and a toboggan ride down for the more adventurous. Afterwards we will take you on to the Beijing airport for your evening flight to Xi’an, where your English-speaking tour guide will greet you at the airport and help you check into your Xi’an hotel for the evening. Day 5: Big Wild Goose Pagoda - Terracotta Warriors
Your personal English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at your hotel for a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the morning and then a nice lunch of the local Xi’an cuisine. After lunch, we will take you to see the unforgettable and world-famous Terracotta Warriors where you will enjoy one of the world’s greatest treasures that have stood watch over the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang for 2,200 years. Afterwards, you tour guide will transfer you to your Xi’an hotel and help you check in for the night.
Day 6: Xi’an City Wall – Flight or High-Speed Train to Chongqing – Board Yangtze River Cruise
Your English-speaking tour guide will pick you up and help you check out of your Xi’an hotel in the morning to explore the ancient Xi’an city wall, then treat you to lunch before taking you on to the Xi’an airport or train station in time for your flight or high-speed train to Chongqing. At the Chongqing airport or train station, your personal English-speaking tour guide will pick you up by private vehicle for a tour of Goose Neck Park, then enjoy a traditional Chongqing hotpot dinner before boarding your cruise ship at around 7 p.m.
