Day 1: Ming Xiaoling Tomb - Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum - Evening Qinhuai River Cruise
We will pick you up at your hotel, the Nanjing airport or train station in the morning; then it’s off to see the sights of historic Nanjing, beginning with the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, constructed between 1381 - 1431 A.D. as the burial site for the first Ming Dynasty emperor. From there, it is on to visit the final resting place of a more contemporary leader of China, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who led the Republic of China after the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty, the last of the dynasties in China. A local lunch is included this afternoon, then in the evening you will be treated to a cruise along the Qinhuai River, which is not only historic but also beautifully lit at night, a perfect way to end your first day in Nanjing.

Day 2: Zhonghua City Gate - Yangtze River Bridge - Nanjing Museum
We will pick you up in the morning after breakfast at your hotel to take you to the ancient Zhonghua Gate, an interesting and crucial part of Nanjing’s walled defenses from the Ming Dynasty. Then it’s a visit to the Yangtze River Bridge, a historic and impressive achievement especially considering the unpredictability of the Yangtze River. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to visit the Nanjing museum, full of ancient and historical artifacts just as you would expect from one of China’s most important capital cities. We will then take you to the airport, train station or back to your hotel, depending on your further plans.

#NT2: 3 Days, 2 Nights Highlights of Nanjing Tour

Day 1: Ming Xiaoling Tomb - Mochou Lake - Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum - Evening Market near the Confucius Temple
We will pick you up from your hotel, the Nanjing airport or the train station to begin your tour of historic Nanjing with a visit to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Mochou Lake, a local lunch, and the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. That evening you will have the opportunity to visit the shopping hotspots located around the Confucius Temple to see what bargains you may find, then we will take you back to your hotel to rest up for the next day.
Day 2: Yangtze River Bridge - Zhonghua City Gate - Nanjing Museum - Xuanwu Lake - Qinhuai River Cruise
Morning pickup from your hotel for a visit to the engineering marvel Yangtze River Bridge and the ancient Zhonghua Gate, built with bricks that are inscribed with the names of the people who made the bricks - an early form of quality control. It must have worked because the Zhonghua Gate is still in great shape after nearly 600 years. After lunch, you will visit the Nanjing Museum, then have the opportunity to walk around beautiful Xuanwu Lake. That evening, you can take a boat cruise on the Qinhuai River, which can either be a romantic cruise or a party barge, depending on who you are with. After the cruise we will take you back to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.
Day 3: Confucius Temple - Airport/Train Station Transfer
We will help you check out of your hotel and then it’s off to visit the Confucius Temple, an historic temple often considered as the cultural center of Nanjing. We will treat you to a local lunch, then have you at the airport or train station in time for the journey to your next destination, according to your preference.

#NT3: 5 Days, 4 Nights Beijing - Nanjing - Beijing Tour

Day 1: Beijing Airport Pickup - Tian'anmen Square - The Forbidden City 
We will greet you at the Beijing airport in the morning and get you checked into your hotel, treat you to a nice lunch and then off to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City that afternoon. 
Day 2: Great Wall of China at Badaling or Juyongguan - The Ming Tombs - Flight to Nanjing
An early start for a trip to the outskirts of Beijing to see the legendary Great Wall of China and the Ming Dynasty Tombs. We will pick you up at 8 a.m., help you check out of your hotel, and take care of your luggage for you during your sightseeing. After a visit to the Badaling or Juyongguan Great Wall, we will treat you to a nice lunch and visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tombs. Afterwards, we will transport you to the airport for your evening flight to Nanjing, where your English-speaking tour guide will meet you to take you to check into your 4-star hotel.
