Beijing Airport Layover Tours - Beijing Stopover Tours
China’s New Visa-free Policy Makes It Easier Than Ever to Tour 18 Cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Dalian, Shenyang, Xi’an and more!
China has launched new visa policies that now allow citizens from 51 different countries to visit Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Chengdu, Dalian, Shenyang, Xi’an, Harbin, Guilin, Kunming, Wuhan, Xiamen, Tianjin, Nanjing, Qingdao, Changsha and Hangzhou without a visa for up to 72 hours. This new visa-free policy makes it easier than ever for travelers with a short or longer layover these cities to see some of the most important sites in China within a very short time. Just a few of the sites that you would have time to visit in Beijing alone include the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square, and the Ming Dynasty Tombs, as well as many others.
The Chinese authorities have promised to streamline the process for visa-free entry into these 18 different cities and it is fairly straightforward. Each of the airlines flying into these cities should be able to provide stopover guests with the appropriate forms to fill out while still on the flights. With those forms and proof of an onward flight departing from China in less than 72 hours, the customs and immigrations authorities at these airports will allow entry into the 18 designated cities without a visa for citizens of the 51 countries that are on the approved visa-free list. The list of countries whose citizens are approved for the 72-hour visa free stays in these 18 cities are:
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Russia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia , Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Brunei, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar
The list of approved countries can also be found on the Beijing Capital International Airport’s official website here: http://en.bcia.com.cn/server/notice/72visafree/72visafree_policy.shtml
Of course how much you will be able to see will depend on the length of time that you have for your Beijing airport layover tour.
